It was 1971 when Kevin Stenzel, caught his first legal Musky and enrolled in the Northwestern School of Taxidermy in Omaha, Nebraska to learn how to mount it. That started a lifetime fascination of fish that is just as strong today as it was back then.

Over the years Kevin became proficient at all phases of Taxidermy. He raised Whitetail Deer for many years and also constructed a 750 gallon aquarium stocked with game fish in order to provide the very best live reference and gave him the ability to study his subjects on a daily basis.

Kevin has also trained with some of the best wildlife artist’s in the world and continues to attend various Taxidermy competitions, seminars & workshops to keep up with all the latest techniques.

Hard work & attention to detail have led Kevin to some of the top awards at state, national & world competitions!
